Emergency & Urgent Care
Our veterinarians and veterinary nurses are trained and equipped to handle most emergencies that your pet may have. Emergencies may include accidental chocolate or toy ingestion, hit by car trauma, congestive heart failure, or any other serious illness or injury. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. If you feel that your pet needs emergency attention, please call us and bring your pet in immediately. In the rare event that your pet requires more serious or specialized care than we are able to provide, we will recommend a referral facility that can help you.
We are also available for urgent care for conditions that are not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before an appointment is available, our veterinarians will work to see you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
*COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the difficulties associated with running a practice in the midst of a pandemic we ask that clients understand this may mean longer than usual wait times for appointments. Following CDC guidelines, if any employee is exposed or symptomatic they are to self isolate for 14 days following exposure/first symptoms. This can lend to some short staffed days and we appreciate your understanding as we work to continue to provide the best care possible for all our furry friends!
